POPIA Notice
1. Our commitment
The Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA") regulates how personal information is processed in South Africa. Nexus Logic (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/756972/07), trading as Mi Service Provider, processes personal information in line with POPIA's eight conditions for lawful processing: accountability, processing limitation, purpose specification, further processing limitation, information quality, openness, security safeguards and data subject participation.

3. What we process and why
We process business and contact details of advertising service providers, ratings and reviews submitted by users, and limited technical data about website visits. We use it to run the online directory, display listings and reviews, manage advertising accounts, keep the platform secure and honest, and comply with the law. Full details, including the lawful basis for each purpose, how long we keep information and who we share it with, are in our Privacy Policy.
When you contact a provider using the WhatsApp button, we store a job reference and a private rating PIN for that enquiry; your message goes directly from your WhatsApp app to the provider and we do not receive your messages. If you rate the provider, we collect your mobile number only to prevent fake ratings – it is never shown to the provider. Ratings and anonymous comments are used for rankings and shared with the provider in a monthly report; comments are analysed by an AI service (Anthropic, USA) without names or contact details.
4. Whether supplying information is voluntary
Browsing and searching the website requires no personal information. Submitting a review is voluntary. Providers must supply the details needed for their listing and billing; without them we cannot provide the advertising service.
5. Consent and other lawful grounds
Where we rely on your consent (for example, to publish your review), you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it, or processing we may lawfully carry out on another ground, such as performing an agreement or complying with the law.
6. Your rights
As a data subject you have the right to:
- be told that your personal information is being collected, and be notified of a security compromise;
- ask whether we hold your personal information and request access to it (section 23);
- ask us to correct, update or delete inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out-of-date, incomplete, misleading or unlawfully obtained information (section 24);
- object, on reasonable grounds, to processing based on legitimate interests, and to processing for direct marketing at any time (section 11(3));
- not receive unsolicited electronic direct marketing without consent (section 69);
- not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects (section 71);
- lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator and institute civil proceedings (section 99).
7. How to make a request
Contact the Information Officer, NW Hunt, at info@nexuslogic.co.za or 081 354 4840, stating what you are asking for. You may also use the prescribed forms published by the Information Regulator: Form 1 to object to processing and Form 2 to request correction or deletion. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on a request, to protect your information from being disclosed to someone else. We will respond within a reasonable time and, where applicable, within the periods set by law. Access requests for records are dealt with under our PAIA Manual.
8. Complaints to the Information Regulator
We would appreciate the chance to resolve any concern first. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa):
