7.4 Planned transborder flows
Some operators, such as our hosting and content-delivery provider, process information outside South Africa, and Anthropic (USA) processes rating figures and comments, without names or contact details, to draft monthly provider summaries. We only use operators subject to protection substantially similar to POPIA, as required by section 72.

Encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access restricted to authorised persons, protection at our hosting provider against attacks, operator agreements requiring confidentiality and security, and retention limits.
8. How to request access (section 51(1)(e))
- Complete the prescribed request form (Form 2 of the PAIA Regulations), available from the Information Regulator's website.
- Give enough detail to identify the records and the requester, state the form of access you want, and state the right you are seeking to exercise or protect and why the record is needed for it (section 53).
- If you act for someone else, include proof of your authority.
- Email the form to the Information Officer at info@nexuslogic.co.za.
We will decide within 30 days of receiving a complete request. This may be extended once by up to 30 days in the circumstances set out in section 57, and we will tell you if it is.
9. Fees
A requester other than a person asking for their own personal information must pay the prescribed request fee before the request is processed. An access fee may also be payable for searching, preparing and reproducing records, and a deposit may be required. All fees are those prescribed in the PAIA Regulations published by the Information Regulator. We will notify you of any fee before proceeding.
10. Grounds for refusal
We may or must refuse access on the grounds in Chapter 4 of Part 3 of PAIA, including protection of the privacy of third parties, commercial information of third parties or of Nexus Logic (Pty) Ltd, confidential information, the safety of individuals and property, privileged legal records, and research information. Where part of a record can be released, it will be.
11. Remedies
Nexus Logic (Pty) Ltd has no internal appeal procedure. If your request is refused, or you disagree with a fee or an extension, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator within 180 days of the decision, or apply to court, as provided in sections 77A to 78 of PAIA.
